Frequently asked questions.
How much are classes and how long are they?
I offer 1hr classes for £8 or 1hr 30min classes for £12.
What should I wear?
A T-shirt, warmer layers for the winter months and a pair of leggings or shorts – no footwear is required
What do I need to bring?
If you have your own equipment please bring it along. Otherwise all equipment will be provided - mats, bricks, blocks, belts, bolsters and chairs.
Where are the classes and is there parking?
My classes are at The Old Vicarage, Rockness Hill, Nailsworth, GL6 0PJ - the studio is located above the garage at the top of the drive.
There is ample parking on the grass area at the bottom of the drive. The grass has been reinforced to be specifically used as a car park all year round.
Please park on the grass and then walk up the hill (through the large gate on the left hand side and up the driveway). The yoga studio is above the garage, there is a grass slope to the left or steps to the right to access the door to the studio.
Should I eat before class?
We recommend not eating right before class. Please allow 3 to 4 hours after a large meal or 2 hours after a snack. This is because we frequently will be lying on our stomachs, twisting the body and doing inversions which can be uncomfortable if the stomach is full.
Again, we recommend not drinking large amounts of water in class for the same reasons.
Do I need to contact you before booking?
Please feel free to book onto any class you’d like without contacting me first. If you are new, I will send an email or talk to you before class to find out your experience and if you have any injuries.
